COMMON SENSE MEDIA

HELPING FAMILIES navigate youtube more safely with ai

As part of the AI Prototyping Squad at Common Sense Media, I explored how AI video analysis could help families assess YouTube content for young kids. Through building and testing interactive prototypes that turned complex model outputs into clear, parent-friendly summaries, I helped shape a video pre-screener product from concept to launch.

TBOOK

Tactile learning for visually impaired children

The world’s first modular, customizable, tactile scrapbook for blind and visually impaired children. TBOOK helps children, their families, and their educators learn about and memorialize experiences in-context, especially ones that may be hard to document. Through iterative product design and user testing, I explored how low-tech, modular systems could support playful and accessible education.

WELLNESSMAXXING

CRITIQUING MODERN WELLNESS CULTURE

When does self-care become self-surveillance? For my design master’s thesis, I created mμ, a fictional wellness brand that exaggerates modern influencer culture and wearable tech. Through speculative products and a staged social media ecosystem, the project critiques how tracking, appearance, and optimization shape young women’s lives.
